J.Bo Tape #3: Grooverider & MC Motormouth @ Organik, Leeds Uni - 25Apr1992

No Duran Duran, Culture Club... none of that just Rub-a-Dub-a-Dub-Dub-Dub.

Oh my gosh, massive... some real deal history for you today - 1992 is considered by many as the greatest year in UK breakbeat music history... and listening to this tape, you know why. From back in the hardcore rave days, before house/jungle/techno split up and went their separate ways, you can hear that they all lost a little something in the breakup. From the mighty Grooverider, this tape also features the legend that is MC Motormouth, an original nutter, everything he says will stick in your mind long after you listen to the mix.

Anybody who has ever put their hands up through a laser will lose it to this... it is, and will remain, without doubt, the most amazing and important tape on this website... you must hear it to appreciate why...

By the way, don't even try to listen through your PC speakers, the sub bass is so low that they won't even try to make a sound... you need a bumping system or some tough headphones for THIS one.

Don't get caught up in the Rush...
